[[en]]Basskontakt is a crew from Potsdam, which was founded in 2015 as an underground collective. At that time we organized many illegal raves and in 2017 we decided to make a non-profit association out of it. Since then, we have held various official events with up to 1,000 people and want to show that Potsdam also has more to offer than beautiful castles. The association is set up on a non-commercial basis due to the non-profit status manifested in the statutes and wants to do its part against the commercialization of the techno scene. Profits that are generated remain in the project and are reinvested. The claim is to create a non-violent and progressive space and to see ourselves as a constructive member of the techno movement as well as to give something back to society. We want to create places at our events where everyone is welcome and no one is excluded. At our events we want to recapture the vibe of the past. Where it wasn't just about the cash. In our line-ups we vary between the multitude of sub-genres that electronic music offers and try to take our guests into the diversity of the electronic music scene with different formats. In the area of cultural education, we run various workshops and offer young adults the opportunity to get to know the subculture in a relaxed setting.[[de]]Basskontakt ist eine Crew aus Potsdam, welche sich 2015 als Untergrundkollektiv gegründet hat. Seinerzeit haben wir viele illegale Raves veranstaltet und uns 2017 entschieden, einen gemeinnützigen Verein daraus zu machen. Seitdem führen wir diverse offizielle Events mit bis zu 1.000 Personen durch und wollen zeigen, dass Potsdam auch mehr als schöne Schlösser zu bieten hat. Der Verein ist durch die in der Satzung manifestierte Gemeinnützigkeit auf einer unkommerziellen Basis aufgestellt und möchte seinen Teil gegen die Kommerzialisierung der Techno Szene beitragen. Gewinne, die erwirtschaftet werden, bleiben im Projekt und werden reinvestiert. Der Anspruch ist, einen gewaltfreien und progressiven Raum zu gestalten und sich als konstruktives Mitglied der Technobewegung zu verstehen sowie der Gesellschaft etwas zurückzugeben. Wir möchten auf unseren Veranstaltungen Orte schaffen, an denen jeder willkommen ist und niemand ausgegrenzt wird. Auf unseren Events soll der Vibe von früher wieder eingefangen werden. Wo es nicht nur um die Kohle ging. In unseren Line-ups variieren wir zwischen der Vielzahl an Subgenres, die elektronische Musik bietet und versuchen unsere Gäste mit verschiedenen Formaten in die Diversität der elektronischen Musikszene mitzunehmen. Im Bereich der kulturellen Bildung führen wir diverse Workshops durch und bieten jungen Erwachsenen die Möglichkeit, die Subkultur in einem entspannten Rahmen kennenzulernen.
[[en]]We are a member of ImPuls Brandenburg e.V., which supports the institutions and initiatives of socioculture in the state of Brandenburg in order to ensure a diverse, continuous and high-quality cultural offering in the communities and regions of the state. As a professional accompanying structure, the state association advises and supports the actors of socioculture, municipalities and the state in quality assurance and development, information management, public relations and concept development of the field of practice. In addition, ImPuls Brandenburg is increasingly involved in several projects under the brand "MusicBase Brandenburg" for the needs and an improvement of the framework conditions for actors and users of the popular music scene in the state of Brandenburg. [[de]]Wir sind Mitglied im ImPuls Brandenburg e.V., welcher sich für die Einrichtungen und Initiativen der Soziokultur im Land Brandenburg einsetzt, um ein vielfältiges, kontinuierliches und qualitativ hochwertiges Kulturangebot in den Gemeinden und Regionen im Bundesland zu gewährleisten. [[en]]We are a member of the municipal alliance "Potsdam shows its colors!" because we want to maintain Potsdam as a cosmopolitan city and firmly reject right-wing extremism. We as an association are committed to this and would like to do our part for a democratic coexistence through our membership in the alliance. The alliance has developed guidelines, which we as an association have recognized and identify with. The Alliance is committed to strengthening democracy by strengthening participation, integration, freedom of belief, solidarity and equal opportunities. In its commitment "Against violence, right-wing extremism and misanthropy", the alliance "Potsdam! shows its colors" makes use of all possibilities as an action alliance. When there is a need for action, it mobilizes diverse, creative protests and actions in public space against right-wing extremist and right-wing populist actors, organizations and parties as well as against group-related anti-human incidents and developments in the city. The alliance acts as a network and information pool for internal and external education, consultation, information, mediation and training about right-wing extremist and right-wing populist actors, organizations and parties and the spread and effects of group-based misanthropy. [[de]]Wir sind Mitglied im städtischen Bündnis „Potsdam bekennt Farbe!“ weil wir Potsdam als weltoffene Stadt erhalten wollen und Rechtsextremismus entschieden ablehnen. Dafür setzen wir uns als Verein ein und möchten durch die Mitgliedschaft im Bündnis unseren Teil für ein demokratisches Miteinander beitragen. Das Bündnis hat Leitlinienentwickelt und diese haben wir als Verein anerkannt und identifizieren uns damit. Das Bündnis setzt sich für die Demokratiestärkung durch Stärkung der Partizipation, Integration, Glaubensfreiheit, Solidarität und Chancengleichheit ein. In seinem Engagement „Gegen Gewalt, Rechtsextremismus und Menschenfeindlichkeit“ schöpft das Bündnis „Potsdam! bekennt Farbe“ alle Möglichkeiten als Aktionsbündnis aus. Es mobilisiert bei Handlungsbedarf wahrnehmbar im öffentlichen Raum vielfältigen, kreativen Protest und Aktionen gegenrechtsextreme und rechtspopulistische Akteur*innen, Organisationen und Parteien sowie gegen gruppenbezogen menschenfeindliche Vorfälle und Entwicklungen in der Stadt. In der internen wie externen Aufklärung, Beratung, Information, Vermittlung und Fortbildung über rechtsextreme und rechtspopulistische Akteur*innen, Organisationen sowie Parteien und die Verbreitung und Wirkungsweisen gruppenbezogener Menschenfeindlichkeit greift das Bündnis als Netzwerk und Informationspool.
[[en]]In 2017, the team originally consisted of 10 founding members and has since grown to 32 members. The majority of the members come from Potsdam, Berlin and the surrounding area. The team includes a wide variety of skills and characters, which makes us a pretty exciting bunch. We do a lot ourselves and from our own strength and try to improve constantly. The tasks in the association are clearly distributed according to competences and everyone contributes his part to the project. In full-time life, the members are also very colorful and pursue a wide variety of activities. From firefighters, to event technicians, videographers, and an architect, there are many other professions and thus, of course, know-how that can be used for our work. The members all work on a voluntary basis and receive no salary from the association and pay monthly membership fees to cover part of the annual costs. The age structure is very different and ranges from 18 to 50 years and is therefore very diverse.[[de]]Im Jahr 2017 bestand das Team ursprünglich aus 10 Gründungsmitgliedern und ist mittlerweile auf 32 Mitglieder herangewachsen. Der Großteil der Mitglieder kommt aus Potsdam, Berlin und dem Umland. Im Team finden sich die unterschiedlichsten Kompetenzen und Charaktere wieder, die uns zu einem ziemlich spannenden Haufen machen. Wir machen viel selbst und aus eigener Kraft und probieren uns stetig zu verbessern. Die Aufgaben sind im Verein klar nach Kompetenzen verteilt und jeder trägt seinen Teil zum Projekt bei. Im hauptberuflichen Leben sind die Mitglieder ebenfalls sehr bunt aufgestellt und gehen den unterschiedlichsten Tätigkeiten nach. Von Feuerwehrleuten, über Veranstaltungstechniker, Videografen, einer Architektin finden sich noch viele weitere Berufe und somit natürlich auch Know-how, welches für unsere Arbeit nutzen. Die Mitglieder arbeiten alle auf ehrenamtlicher Basis und beziehen vom Verein keinen Lohn und zahlen monatlich Mitgliedsbeiträge, um einen Teil der Jahreskosten abzudecken. Die Altersstruktur ist sehr unterschiedlich und reicht von 18 bis zu 50 Jahren und ist somit sehr vielfältig.
