The Nuthepark in Potsdam begins at the main train station and stretches along the Havel River to the Babelsberg Park. Between 1998 and 2002, a near-natural landscape park with varied vegetation was created on the formerly neglected area. Among other things, an imposing lime tree hall, wet meadows and a forest playground can be found there. Small and large squares as well as the Havel terrace with a public footbridge form special places in the Nuthepark. A beautiful Havel riverbank hiking trail from downtown Potsdam to the historic Babelsberg Park leads over a covered wooden bridge and invites you to take a relaxing walk as well as a bicycle tour.
Der Nuthepark in Potsdam beginnt am Hauptbahnhof und zieht sich entlang der Havel bis hin zum Park Babelsberg. Zwischen 1998 und 2002 ist auf dem vormals verwahrlosten Areal ein naturnaher Landschaftspark mit abwechslungsreicher Vegetation entstanden. Dort sind unter anderem eine imposante Lindenhalle, Feuchtwiesen und ein Waldspielplatz zu finden. Kleine und große Plätze sowie die Havelterrasse mit einem öffentlichen Steg bilden besondere Orte im Nuthepark. Ein schöner Havelufer-Wanderweg von der Innenstadt Potsdams zum historischen Park Babelsberg führt über eine überdachte Holzbrücke und lädt zum erholsamen Spaziergang wie zur Radtour ein.
